Thank you Janet for responding to my query…I appreciate your feedback. Thing is, when do small business/microbusiness owners actaully have time to do our business? With twittering, blogging and managing my webmaster, not to mention paying for web hosting, a difficult to use Content Management System and maintenance fees eat up revenue, take up time and are a pain in the butt.
April, it sounds like you’re pretty overwhelmed!
If you’re paying more than $100 per year for domain registration and website hosting, it’s definitely time for a change.
I think you would find WordPress to be very easy to use as a content management system. You can sign up for a free account at http://www.wordpress.com to see how you like it; the interface is almost the same as the self-hosted version, and your content can be imported to a self-hosted blog later on should you decide to go in that direction.
I promise to cover making time for social networking in a future post.
Yup, couldn’t agree more. And I’d like to add that you’ve got a great colour scheme on your site, I suffer with colour blindness and many webmasters don’t give us a second thought!
