This time of year, we’re all thinking about ways to improve ourselves, both personally and professionally. If professional development is on your list for 2010, there are lots of things happening this month to help you start working towards your goals, all from the comfort of your own home.

On Monday, January 11, Ellen Damaschino will share strategies to help you get media attention for your organizing business in A Red Bench‘s first teleclass of the year. You can sign up for just this session, or become a member so you can attend a different class every month and access lots of bonus materials.

On Tuesday, January 19, Debbie Stanley will cover the important topic of Ethical Pitfalls for Professional Organizers, in a teleclass sponsored by NAPO Georgia.

And, from January 25 to 29, the first ever Organizing Telesummit will take place, hosted by Organizer U. This is a week-long series of teleclasses where you can learn organizing strategies as well as tips to help you grow your business. You can either sign up for the individual sessions that interest you, or the entire telesummit. Organizers who register for “the whole enchilada” will receive free bonuses, including  a 3-month free membership to the Organizers Roundtable, a monthly 1-hour moderated discussion group on topics ranging from marketing and sales to organizing strategies and best practices, with Allison Carter, CPO®.

All of the above programs are teleclasses, so you don’t have to worry about travel, and recordings will be available if you’re unable to call in at the scheduled time.
