Thanks Janet for sharing this great compilation of lessons for living a balanced life.

Elaine, when I set out to do this two years ago, I had no idea that it would become so popular! Nor did I realize how much I would gain from reading all this great information… 🙂
I feel a great way to find out where focus and attention are needed in the various areas of life and work, is to use a tool called the ‘Life Wheel’
I include this in my ezine sign up give away, but sending you to sign up to my ‘Tidy Times’ news is not why I write this, you can Google the concept for yourself if you want to explore this option for goal setting and planning.
Instead, for this brief posted comment, to keep in theme of ‘Life Balance’ I will give you one of my favorite quotes/sayings, and that is; ‘Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff’
Great advice, Michelle! So often the reason we try to do too much is because we’re worried about unimportant details!
I love this blog topic. It is always the desire to find a balance that works for the individual. Balance means different things to different people. There’s lots here to help everyone find their own definition of balance! Thanks for doing this monthly Blog Carnival, I really enjoy it.
I thought I knew a lot about the subject, but found that I learned something new from each post I read! I’m glad you enjoy the Carnival, and that you are using it to share your own expertise.
Hmmmm, such big topic, so many different ideas. How do you sort through them all and find out what works for you? I tend to skim and only hone in on what speaks to me AT THAT MOMENT. What does everyone else do to avoid being overwhelmed with information?
My approach is similar to yours, Evelyn. As I scan each post, I keep an eye open for ideas I might want to try, and depending on the situation, I either implement it right away (if it’s simple and practical to do that) or bookmark it to review when I’m ready to really focus on that particular area of my life or my business.
