Wow, Janet! What is a banner edition of the #POBC! So many submissions, which makes this a “hot topic.” It’s fascinating to think about this. We spend so much time making our homes “feel right.” Yet now that we have to be home more than ever, we’re noticing the ways that things aren’t necessarily as “right” as we need them to be. And especially as the demands change, it’s good to remain flexible on how to make them better. Sometimes it’s a mindset shift. Other times, it’s more of an editing job- as in letting go of things or rearranging spaces. I’m excited to do a deep dive into this impressive array of posts. Many thanks for inclusion with this wonderful group of colleagues.

Thank you very much for your contribution and your kind words. I had already started to put the word out for a different topic for this month when I realized this one would be much more relevant right now. I was almost hoping it would be “too little, too late” but alas, we are still at home.

Wow – I think this must be your largest blog carnival yet! I guess everyone can really resonate with this topic right now. It does take a bit of intentionality and flexibility, especially when the whole family is working from home at the same time. My husband and I have had to make some adjustments in my setup because he has needed to establish multiple monitors and quiet “phone/zoom” zones. I think everyone can use some of these great tips for setting boundaries, not only with space but with time. Working from home can make it harder to end the day or take a break, right? This is a perfectly time post. Thanks for including me, and all these wonderful contributors!

It’s definitely one of the top three! I agree that it’s harder to end the day or take breaks when you’re always at home (or always at work, depending on how you look at it) but I discovered early on that taking lunch at the same time every day and wrapping up at the same time every afternoon makes a huge difference. Thanks for your valuable contribution!

Absolutely amazing, Janet! You definitely have your finger on the pulse of what is challenging everyone at this epic moment in our lifetimes. I look forward to reading this incredible collection of my colleagues’ sage advice, heeding it and sharing it with my clients, friends and family. Together we are stronger, and better!

“Together we are stronger, and better!” -> always true, but now more than ever. Glad to have you back in the Carnival, Cary!
