One of the things that makes organizing fun is the wide range of products available. When giving presentations on office organization, I always reminded the audience that unless there is a corporate standard that dictates what employees have on their desks, they should choose things that reflect their personality and make them feel good, as well as being functional.
As you may recall, I recently sought the help of readers in tracking down my ideal paper planner. In response to that challenge, a representative of dotmine offered me a copy of one of their day planners, certain that it was the perfect match to what I was looking for. Although I’d already ordered the myAgenda from momAgenda, being a bit of a calendar junkie, I was happy to accept the offer.

One of the major challenges faced by business organizing clients – and by professional organizers themselves – is what to do with all the business cards they collect from the many people they meet at trade shows and networking events.
As a professional office organizer, I found that the majority of people sought my help because of the piles of paperwork that were encroaching on their workspace. Some clients had basic organizing skills, and often a fairly decent filing system, but were simply not making time to file their paid bills, completed projects, and so on. For the majority, however, it was not that simple.
When you think of organizing products, the first things that probably come to mind are those items which will remain at your client’s home or office, such as containers to store various large or small objects together and keep them in their proper place. Then there are other products which are designed to be used during the organizing process, such as the all-purpose file sorter.
