After a few years of cancelled, rescheduled, and countless virtual events, it seems that in-person conferences are once again becoming the norm.

I’ve listed below some of the conferences for organizers and related professionals taking place around the world this year, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid options.

In addition to industry-specific events, my list includes conferences related to blogging, marketing and coaching. There’s something here for everyone, so start planning now so you don’t miss out on your perfect learning and networking opportunity!

Other Events to Watch for

The Association of Russian-speaking Professional Organizers and Japan Association of Life Organizers (JALO) have held conferences in the past. I don’t know whether they will this year, but I’ll update this post if I receive more information.

The Annual International Conference on ADHD or the Real Estate Staging Association Convention (RESACON) might also be up your alley, depending on your area of interest.

If you’ll be at any of the events listed above – or any others that might interest readers of Your Organizing Business – please leave a comment. It’s always great to connect with other participants ahead of time!

Wow- what a great list of the many opportunities available to us in 2024. Nice to see in- person conferences up and running again. I wonder if they will draw as many as they did pre-pandemic. It’s always great to have options. Thanks for putting this together!

That will be interesting to see. I know many events aren’t attracting nearly as many participants as in the past. We’re so used to being able to do everything from the comfort of home now!

This is a great list. The Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD) will also have an in-person conference in Fall 2024. The dates aren’t yet listed on their website.

Great list! It’s nice that they are all in one place. Thank you.

Thanks for putting these together Janet. I am planning to attend the POC Conference in TO in October and I have always wanted to go to the ICD conference. I see they have a Virtual one coming up in February too. It’s going to be a great year.

Virtual conferences definitely open up a lot of opportunities, since having to travel increases the cost and time commitment quite a bit. Enjoy!

What a fantastic set of resources. I haven’t attended anything in person since the pandemic began, which is a heartbreak because I’d gone to 19-straight NAPO conferences. I’m really tempted by the virtual ICD conference (especially because I know Diane Quintana is instrumental in putting it together, and she’s FAB), and I would love to someday attend the APDO and IOPO conferences to hear organizing and productivity wisdom in those beautiful accents! And I’d never even heard of HT:S! Thank you for sharing this!

That is a heartbreak for such a seasoned conference goer! I think the pandemic has changed our lives in many ways, in some cases permanently, but I hope you’ll be able to attend in person again some day.

I would love to attend an in-person conference like this! I know everyone is used to doing everything virtually, but I think there is such power in talking to people face-to-face. Thank you for compiling this list!

There’s really no comparison! I run a local group which got together in person every month until the pandemic, when we pivoted to virtual, like many others. Long term members have had the benefit of forming strong relationships, even friendships, because of those gatherings, but those who’ve joined since 2020 have never had that experience. We’ve had a few in-person meetings over the last couple of years, but attendance hasn’t been great.
