How to get results from your business blog

I was recently interviewed for the Content Mastery Guide, one of my favorite blogs about blogging.

Linda Dessau asked me the following questions:

  1. In your presentation for WordCamp Hamilton 2015, you explained that blogging results fall into three categories. Can you explain how these three areas work together to grow a business?
  2. Where do you see businesses putting most of their attention?
  3. Where do you recommend businesses put their attention?
  4. How do you recommend businesses measure each of these areas, and how often?
  5. What do you think is the biggest misunderstanding when it comes to how blogging gets real business results?

To read my answers, please read How Blogging Gets Real Results for Your Business.

I clicked over to Linda’s page and read your interview. Good job! I appreciated your point that a blog can be successful in several ways, with corresponding methods of measuring that success.

Thanks, Hazel! Blogging is like any other activity – we all have our own goals and our own idea of success!

Great questions! I clicked over too and shared the post on Twitter and Pinterest. Small businesses need all the help they can get. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
