I’m often asked to create a starter website for a new business, or to redesign an older website. Recently I’ve been contacted by two organizers who’d had their websites done professionally only a year or two ago. In both cases, the organizer didn’t feel that the original designer had truly captured the essence of their business.
Interior Organizing by Christina Reilly
Christina was disappointed to discover that she wasn’t able to update the content herself, as she had expected. More importantly, the design didn’t effectively attract the upscale clientele she enjoyed working with.
The first step in the process was for our graphic designer to create a new logo that fit with Christina’s vision. Once the new logo was finalized, I customized a WordPress theme to highlight it as well as photos of Christina’s beautiful work.
To cap it off, because her site is now in WordPress, Christina can now update her content easily whenever she likes.
Organize A Difference
Carrie Cooper didn’t feel that her original website design reflected her professional image very well. She requested a website evaluation and I made some recommendations to improve her site’s visual appeal and impact on visitors.
While maintaining the same basic look and feel, I removed some elements and added others, while removing unused plugins and unnecessary code left behind by the original designer. Carrie is pleased to now have a website that really makes her shine!
To further enhance Carrie’s online visibility, we’ve added a Pinterest widget and her first new newsletter will be going out soon.
Let me ask you again: does your business website make you shine? Try our website evaluation service and find out for sure!
