15 years ago, I’d never heard of minimalism, but these days it’s become a regular buzzword. Maybe it’s a backlash against the materialistic society we’ve become, but it seems that more and more people are embracing a simpler lifestyle.

My readers are experts when it comes to helping people identify what’s most important to them, so I asked them to share their thoughts on this hot topic, and they did not disappoint. Whether you help others to remove the clutter from their homes or you’re seeking a simpler lifestyle for yourself, there’s something here for you. Read on for some great tips, personal stories, and even book and movie reviews!

Be sure to engage with the bloggers by leaving comments on their posts or connecting with them on social media. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow your network!

Please feel free to share your own thoughts about minimalism in the comments section.

We are now accepting submissions for next month’s Professional Organizers Blog Carnival, when our topic will be Project Management. The submission deadline is 8 PM Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday, September 20.

Janet, I appreciate you providing some interesting reading for a rainy afternoon here in Cleveland. In just reading a couple of the postings, I’ve already discovered some new individuals to follow on Twitter. Thank you for inviting us all to share our varying perspectives on minimalism.
