shared workspace

Whether you work from home or in a traditional office, sharing a workspace with someone else can have an impact on productivity – for better or worse. Some people thrive in a lively environment and enjoy the camaraderie of a co-working space, while others need peace and quiet to do their best work.

Sometimes, sharing isn’t a choice, but a necessity. That’s especially true now that so many people are working from home, where partners or roommates may find themselves juggling Zoom calls and desk space in the same room. Add in different organizing styles or comfort levels with clutter, and things can get complicated!

To help those who are facing this situation, I invited my readers to share their insights in this month’s Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival. As you read the posts listed below, please connect with the bloggers on social media, leave comments, and share your favorites with your own network.

If you offer a product or service that would interest professional organizers, productivity consultants, or their clients, maximize your exposure by sponsoring an upcoming edition of the Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival.

Big thanks to everyone who participated in this month’s Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival!

The next edition of the Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival will be sponsored by Organize A-Z, and I invite  you to contribute your blog posts about Organizing Small Spaces any time from now until Wednesday, August 20 at 11:59 PM EDT.

What a great topic! I know that for me, I work with many small businesses, and organizing their workspace has been a big part of their struggles. Thanks for including my post. I appreciate it.

It’s definitely challenging when multiple workers with diverse personalities, attitudes and organizing styles have to share space!

Creating a workspace that’s conducive and supportive is what it’s all about. It makes all the difference. Years ago, I finally did this for my office. I’m grateful every day for this space that is organized and designed just for me. It’s worth the time and effort.

My husband and I shared the office for many years, but now it’s all mine, and I’m grateful to have the space and freedom to reorganize it accordingly.
