This is such an exciting time of year… not just because of the holidays, but because it’s the perfect time to reflect on our successes and remember those who have helped us along the way. Today I’d like to pause from my regular schedule and acknowledge everyone who has supported Your Organizing Business during 2012.
I’d like to begin by thanking the businesses who provided products for review and/or giveaways throughout the year:
- Depositphotos
- PlannerPads
- O’Reilly Media
- Order Out of Chaos
- Julie Morgenstern Enterprises
- ListPlanIt
- Inoventions
I’d also like to thank the professional organizers who generously shared their expertise as guest bloggers.
- Robin Blinder
- Audrey Cupo
- Clare Kumar
- Moreen Torpy twice
- Angela Siele
- Helena Alkhas
- Jeri Dansky
- Ellen Delap
- Ramona Creel
- Janice Simon
- Nancy Borg
- Tracy Hoth
I’m especially grateful to the 60 bloggers who took part in the Professional Organizers Blog Carnival, contributing a total of 223 posts over the year.

Last but not least, I’d like to thank everyone who has stopped by to read my blog during the year, especially my regular subscribers and those who have taken the time to leave a comment (or a few). It means a great deal to me when you share my posts on social media and by email.
As you prepare your own Blogging Plan for 2013, you may find the Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival monthly topics helpful for generating content ideas.
I’m taking a blogging break over Christmas and New Year’s, so this is my last regular post for the year, but some special guest bloggers have offered to fill the gaps.
If you’re not already a subscriber, be sure to add Your Organizing Business to your RSS reader or join my mailing list right here. I’ve got lots more blogging tips and other great business information coming in 2013!

Lovely gratitude post, Janet. What do they say, “it takes a village?” You have done so much for our industry to build community and give us a venue to gather and share. Thank YOU for creating these special ways to meet and learn from one another.
Enjoy your break and holiday time. Looking forward to another wonderful year ahead.
Linda, thanks as always for your support and your inspiration. Heading off now to find out what Gretchen Rubin has to say!
Feeling are mutual, my friend. The interview with Gretchen is wonderful, along with the great conversation that is happening as a result. Life balance and what it means to each of us seems to be a core issue. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts. You always add so much to our conversations.
And thank YOU for another great year, too, Janet. I’m so pleased with my redesigned site and even though I’m not a PO, I always find something interesting in your posts and those of your guests and carnival participants. Happy New Year to all.
Thank you, Kathy! I always enjoy your posts too. Although I don’t have any young people in my life right now, I love to know what you’re reading and writing about, and your writing tips are often inspiring to me as a blogger.
What a wonderful post Janet! I love all the ways you remembered those and acknowledged them in this article.
Thank you, Shannon. It has become an annual tradition for me to recognize all my guest bloggers and the other people who have contributed to the success of my blog over the past year. I suspect that this year I may need to split it over two posts!
