There are thousands, maybe even millions of websites that offer organizing advice on a wide range of topics. The Productivity and Organizing Blog Carnival archives alone contain nearly 3000 blog posts! While it’s wonderful that all this information is freely available online, digging into a good book can be a more effective and satisfying way to delve more deeply into a subject.
For that reason, I invited my readers to share their own blog posts highlighting their favorite organizing and productivity book(s), and wow – did they come through! They cover everything from bestsellers to titles few know about, and I’m sure their insights will inspire you to find your next great read.
The sponsor for this month is Sara Skillen, owner of the Coach Approach Training Institute. Founded in 2006, Coach Approach offers innovative courses and credentials for new and experienced coaches in the areas of organizing, productivity, neurodiversity, ADHD, and leadership.

I look forward to reading through these reviews. There are many good books out there on all things organizing and productivity. I love Matt Baier’s book “The Circulation Solution” when it comes to organizing, and James Clear and Charles Duhigg on habits and productivity, to name a few! And then I have a few friends who have written books, like “Unholy Mess” by Angie Hyche. So much good stuff!
Thanks for your recommendations, Seana! Of the ones you mention, only James Clear’s Atomic Habits was mentioned by any of the bloggers who participated. So many books, so little time… 😀
Thank you for including my post in this collection. I am excited to see which books my colleagues recommend!
