A big part of getting organized is letting go – not just of items that are no longer needed, but of activities, attitudes and behaviors that prevent us from living our best possible life. Helping their clients to let go is a big part of the work that professional organizers do, so I invited my readers to share what they’ve written on this subject.
This month’s edition of the Professional Organizers Blog Carnival is sponsored by Linda Samuels, owner of Oh, So Organized! and author of The Other Side of Organized. If you’ve met Linda or read her blog, you know that she’s truly passionate about this topic! And judging by the number of submissions, so are a lot of other people.
As you read the posts listed below, please connect with Linda and the other bloggers on social media, leave comments, and share your favorite posts with your own network. Please use the hashtags #POBC and #lettinggo in your social media posts.

Wow, what a great collection of blog posts, Janet! Thanks for including my post also. I can’t wait to read and share them all. =)
Wow is right! I agree with Sabrina that you’ve curated a wonderful selection of “letting go” posts. I’m so proud to be this month’s sponsor and look forward to reading all the interesting posts about one of my favorite and very relevant topics…letting go! Thank you, Janet, for the opportunity to participate, sponsor, and learn more from my organizing colleagues.
I’m so pleased to have both of you – and the 30 others who contributed to this post – in my network. You are a constant source of inspiration and support. I hope you get lots of traffic to your blog as a result of your participation in the Professional Organizers Blog Carnival!

This will be my evening entertainment–visiting with my organizer friends & learning from their wisdom and experience. Glad to be in such good company!! Thanks, Janet, for including such a useful topic and thanks, Linda, for sponsoring this edition of POBC.
What a lovely way to spend an evening – and you didn’t even have to get dressed up!
