2021

For the final Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival of the year, I invited my readers to share their Best of 2021. This is a great opportunity for you to read blog posts that you missed or would like to read again.

I let the contributors set their own criteria for choosing their best post. I asked why they considered it to be their best, and received some very interesting answers!

Many posts were selected because they had the most page views, visits, comments, or shares. This was often attributed to providing timely, practical, innovative and/or valuable information.

Others were chosen for more personal reasons, such as.

  • I received a lot of positive feedback.
  • It led to a podcast interview, which generated new clients and a speaking gig.
  • It was the first time I edited a talk I gave and repurposed it as a post.
  • It reflected a turning point in my business.
  • It was my favorite post to write.
  • It pushed me outside my comfort zone.

As you read what my readers consider their best posts of 2021, you’re sure to pick up some valuable tips and perhaps even some inspiration for your own blog.

Please connect with the bloggers on social media, leave comments, and share your favorite posts with your own network. Please use the hashtags #POBC and #Bestof2021 in your social media posts.

Thanks to everyone who shared their Best of 2021!

It’s not too early to start thinking about next year. Please let me know what topics you’d like to read or write about or if you know of a potential sponsor (maybe even yourself!).

In the meantime, go ahead and submit a post to January’s Blog Carnival, when the topic will be Neurodiversity, sponsored by The MindFlows Planning Collection.

What fun to see a “Best of 2021” blog post selection! I love seeing what each blogger picked as what they deemed their best…and the reasons they chose a particular post. I love that you listed some of those reasons and left the door wide open for us to do the self-selecting process.

Wishing you, your readers, and my blogging colleagues a Happy & Healthy New Year!

Thank you for the ongoing opportunities you create to allow us to share, learn, and grow together.

Many bloggers write a new post for each monthly topic, and some themes aren’t a a good fit for everyone, so I thought it would be nice to close the year with something that wouldn’t exclude or put pressure on anyone. I’m happy you shared your post and the reason you chose it; I’m sorry I couldn’t include all the details.

Wow, super interesting to see what everyone’s “best” post was this year. There is a lot of variety. I agree with Linda that it challenges me to consider what makes a post successful. This also gives me some ideas for future posts of my own. Thanks so much for including me!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. “See” you in 2022!

I’m very happy that you submitted a post and that your new minimalism category is going over so well. There’s definitely a growing interest in living more simply.
