One thing most productivity and organizing experts excel at is list making! My readers are pros when it comes to creating lists for everything from daily tasks to planning a major project, so I asked them to share their blog posts on list making for this month’s Professional Organizers Blog Carnival.
Our sponsor for this edition is Paula Rizzo, the founder of ListProducer.com and author of Listful Living: A List-Making Journey to a Less Stressed You and Listful Living: Using Lists to be More Productive, Highly Successful and Less Stressed.
Paula is also the co-creator of Lights Camera Expert, an online course geared towards helping entrepreneurs, authors, and experts get media attention. Earlier this year, Paula shared her media tips for professional organizers here on Your Organizing Business, and I’m pleased to welcome her back today as a sponsor.
Check out all the great submissions, and be sure to show the bloggers your appreciation by leaving comments and sharing their blog posts (or this one) with your network, using the hashtag #POBC in your social media posts.

So many great lists in this roundup, Janet. Funny to see how many of us talked about packing. I’ve enjoyed reading the contributions by the other organizers – terrific!
Yes, it was almost as popular as to-do lists! Thanks for your contribution, as always.
What a vast collection of posts on the topic making lists! It shows that a place to start is to make a list. It brings it out of the thought process and into the world. Hopefully, people will continue the steps to make it a reality. Thanks for curating these posts. =)
I can’t imagine tackling a project without some type of list!
I love the breath of these lists of to-dos, to-don’ts, checklists and more! Thank you for the opportunity to share and be included among these wonderful colleagues and fellow bloggers. I love forward to doing a deep dive.
I just knew this would be a popular topic, and I loved your unique approach to it.
What a great collection of articles – clearly making a list is a tried and true organization strategy. I look forward to picking up so new and creative ways to use them!
I love it when the Blog Carnival topic brings up so many different ideas. Thanks so much for sharing your review of Paula’s book!
Thanks for offering this relevant topic, Janet! I need to create/update some of my business operation procedures with checklists that reflect what I actually do. This was a good reminder to get that task in the lineup of things to do!! I am looking forward to reading the book, Listful Living. I remember reading Listful Thinking a few years ago.
That’s a big job, Olive, but it’s so worth it!
