Mindfulness is not a new concept – people have been practicing it for thousands of years! Although it originated from Eastern religions, in recent decades it has become an important part of daily life for many.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who is interested in becoming more mindful, so I invited my readers to share their posts about Mindfulness for this month’s Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival. Read on to learn how mindfulness can help you improve your focus, organization, productivity, sleep and more.
This edition of the Blog Carnival is sponsored by Sara Skillen, COC®, CPO®, the founder and owner of SkillSet Coaching & Organizing based in Franklin, TN (just below Nashville). She specializes in coaching and organizing for adults diagnosed with ADHD or other brain based conditions, and is the author of Organizing and Big Scary Goals: Working With Discomfort and Doubt to Create Real Life Order. Available in paperback and eBook format, you can look for the audiobook version to be released just in time for the holidays.
Sara was particularly excited to sponsor this Blog Carnival, as mindfulness practices are a particular interest, and a support she regularly uses with clients.

Mindfulness is one of my favorite topics. Thank you for including me in this round-up. I can’t wait to read the other posts!
Thank you for bringing so much inspiration to this topic on an ongoing basis!
I knew you would get a good response for this one! What a terrific collection of posts, with many by my “mindfulness heroes.” Definitely will be sharing!
I’m definitely pleased with the response and, as often happens, with the many different approaches to the topic. Thank you for sharing!
I can’t think of anyone in organizing who might need this more than I do; I’m mindful when I’m focused on a project, but otherwise in my life, mindfulness escapes me. I can’t wait to dig in!
There is some really great information and advice here, for sure! I too struggle with this.
