Organizing Myths – Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival

There is so much misinformation about organizing and productivity out there that I invited my readers to help set the record straight by sharing their blog posts about Organizing Myths.

This edition of the Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival is sponsored by Melanie Summers of I Speak Organized, who serves the greater Portland and SW Washington metro area and currently offers virtual plans and services nationwide. Be sure to read Melanie’s Organizer Interview if you haven’t already, because she’s a lot of fun!

I hope you’ll take some time to read the various posts and get to know some of your colleagues. As you do, take a moment to leave comments and share your favorites with your network. Please use the hashtag #POBC when you talk about the Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival on social media.

Thanks to everyone who participated this month, especially our generous sponsor, I Speak Organized.

It’s been a while since most people have been able to travel, so everyone is eagerly anticipating their next trip. Help them out by sharing your blog posts about Travel Planning in next month’s Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival, which will be sponsored by DownshiftingPRO.

Submit your post as soon as you’re ready – any time before midnight EDT on Tuesday, April 20th.

I’ve already had the fun of reading some of these posts and look forward to reading more. It’s amazing how many organizing myths there are. What also strikes me is that as organizers, we are interested in helping others. And so often, potential clients feel like we are going to judge them. Most of us don’t. We’re interested in helping our clients get unstuck and succeed…judgment-free. Many of these myth busters have a judgment piece underlying them. I appreciate being included in this collection of awesome posts.

Thanks for including me in this roundup of posts on organizing myths. I agree with Linda, I think we are probably the least judgmental group out there. We’ve seen it all and aren’t ever shocked. Our goal isn’t to judge, but to help! That is our “mojo!” Looking forward to reading what some of the other contributors have said!
