Repurposing & Upcycling - Professional Organizers Blog Carnival

Welcome to the latest edition of the Professional Organizers Blog Carnival! Earth Day is only a couple of weeks away, so let’s look at eco-friendly practices, specifically Repurposing and Upcycling.

Whether for organizing, storage, staging, redesign, or something altogether different, giving unwanted furniture and other items a new purpose is a growing trend with crafters, hobbyists and DIYers everywhere. Check out all these great ideas!

I’m thankful, as always, for all the professional organizers who have shared their Repurposing and Upcycling posts with us this month. As you go through the list, be sure to connect with them on social media, leave a comment, and/or share their posts with your own network. Please use the hashtag #POBC in your social media posts.

This is a great list of ways to take care of a home and the planet. Can’t wait to read them. Thanks for sharing.

I’m always impressed at the creative ideas people come up with. I think I’m clever because I reuse an attractive box that a gift came in, then I see where someone has created something beautiful using wallpaper remnants and an empty cereal box!

This is a great resource for organizers and clients. It is also a topic near to my heart, helping clients repurpose items.

When someone is attached to a certain item but is no longer using it, it’s great to find a brand new use for it !
