Janet Barclay

A former professional organizer, I now eliminate stress for my clients by hosting, monitoring, and maintaining their WordPress sites so they don't have to worry about security, downtime or performance issues. When I'm away from my desk, I enjoy reading, photography, watching movies, and cooking.

The Institute for Professional Organizers, which has trained hundreds of students from around the world, recently closed its doors following the retirement of its founder, Anne Blumer. Fortunately, much of the body of work Anne which produced over the years will remain available to you and other organizers. Read on to learn where!

The Blog

While running her professional organizer training program, Anne published an excellent blog full of informative articles to help new and experienced organizers alike, and I’m thrilled that she’s given me the green light to republish them here on Your Organizing Business.

Anne’s posts about starting, growing and managing a professional organizing business will start appearing here in the near future. Topics include working with students, seniors and other types of clients; insurance, pricing, subcontracting, and much more. With such variety, there’s something for everyone, so if you’re not already a subscriber, sign up below so you don’t miss a single post!

In Closing

I will miss working with Anne and am proud to share an excerpt from one of her last messages to me.

Thank you for all your expertise and support with my websites over the years… I appreciate your willingness to venture into an educational platform with me. The Institute for Professional Organizers was tremendously successful in large part to the website you developed.

Anne Blumer

With Anne’s retirement, I have room on my schedule for a new client or two! If you’ve been thinking about getting reliable, expert care for your website, now is a great time to explore a Website Care Plan. Let’s keep your site secure and running smoothly!
