Wow, there are a lot more than I thought! I am heading to Fort Worth for the NAPO conference in a little while. Your POC conference often conflicts with our NERCPO Conference, but at least there is great organizing information flowing that weekend:)
It’s amazing how often there are multiple events happening at the same time that we’d like to attend. It’s all good!
This is a great list! I love going to conferences. While you could make a career of going to all of them, it is not viable financially or schedule-wise. So I need to pick and choose. In 2019, I’m looking forward to attending NAPO in Texas, ICD in Orlando, and NERCPO in Connecticut. Last year I attended a Mindfulness conference in NYC. If they have it again, I’ll definitely go. These are wonderful opportunities to travel, learn, meet new people, and see old friends and colleagues.
Ha ha, you probably could! Your plans sound great – one in the spring and one in the fall. Enjoy!
I love this list of conferences, Janet! I don’t go to conferences but some of these look very interesting. I prefer online conferences since I still have kids at home and don’t have a lot of support in the area. You see, my husband travels often for work and we don’t have family in the area. But, next year, both my kids will be in college so I hope to be able to attend at least one of these. They look wonderful.
You will absolutely love it when you can go! There’s nothing like being in a room with a large number of people who share your passion.
I would love to go to the ICD Conference in Orlando. I missed the early bird but hey if it’s meant to be…. Will need to get a passport too. Just putting it out there.
That would be a great experience. It’s only a little bit more since the early bird pricing expired, so hopefully you can pull it off!

Thank you so much, Juliana! I’ve updated this post as well as Beyond NAPO & POC: Resources to help you start and grow your organizing business.
Thank you very much. This is very significant for us. You have a great site, a very useful resource for practicing professional organizers.
Thank you, Juliana! I’d love to learn more about your association.
Hi Janet, thank you for adding the IOPO Conference in Melbourne, Australia! We appreciate the mention as well as the great resources here.
You’re more than welcome, Sarah! If you or another member might be interested in writing a guest post afterwards, I’m sure my readers would love to read about it.
Great guide to conferences. I would really like to see my seminars here too. Thank you Janet for organizing it. I am looking for a seasoned seminar organizer that would organize my seminars “COMING OUT OF THE SHADOWS — Naturopathic Approaches to Treatment of Children with Post-Vaccination Autism Spectrum Disorder”. It would include, but is not limited to, securing a mailing list (lists) of a qualified audience, sending out/emailing information about seminars, answering questions from responders, directing interested responders to make payments to a specific escrow bank account, and providing appropriate venue suitable for a high-intensity, three-day seminar, date, and other pertinent information as instructed.
I’m not sure you’ll find the type of organizer you need here, but I’ll share this with the Golden Horseshoe Virtual Assistants Group. I wish you much success!
