Back-to-school season is upon us, but things are a little different this year, due to COVID-19. In some areas, schools will not be re-opening but instead will be delivering online education. Even where schools are open, parents may choose to do home schooling, possibly for the first time. Distance education really isn’t new, especially for adult students and those in remote areas, but it does require a different approach than attending a physical classroom.

For this month’s Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival, I invited my readers to submit a blog post about Learning at Home, and I’m happy to share them with you here. You’ll find great tips about online learning, setting up a homework station, and much more.

Our sponsor for this edition is Melissa Rogers of Modified by Melissa, who has developed two Back-to-School Guides, including one specifically for Remote School Planning.

Check out all the great submissions, and be sure to show the bloggers your appreciation by leaving comments and sharing their blog posts (or this one) with your network, using the hashtag #POBC in your social media posts.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this Blog Carnival, especially our wonderful sponsor.

Next month’s Blog Carnival is all about Organizing Case Studies, and you may make your submission any time from now until Tuesday, September 15 at 12:00 midnight EDT.

Couldn’t be a more timely roundup of tips. Parents are really facing some tough times as kids toggle between between school and home. It always helps to have a good setup at home to be ready for whatever 2020 throws at you! Thanks for including my post.

You’re so right, Seana. I’ve published a number of posts this year that are related in some way to the pandemic, but most of the strategies will still be valuable in the future. Hopefully all of us come out of this with a few new tricks under our belts!
