Being a mom is hard. That’s why every year we devote the second Sunday in May to our mothers and those who’ve filled similar roles in our lives. Working when you’re a parent can be even harder, and working at home with children presents a whole new set of challenges. That’s why I asked my readers to submit a post with helpful tips for work-at-home moms to May’s edition of the Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival.

Whether you need tips for mothers who work for their employers remotely, home-based business owners of any type, or some other demographic that I haven’t thought of, you’re sure to find something helpful here. As you read the posts listed below, please connect with the bloggers on social media, leave comments, and share your favorite posts with your own network.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this Blog Carnival!

Do you offer a product or service that would interest professional organizers, productivity consultants, or their clients? Why not maximize your exposure by sponsoring an upcoming edition of the Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival?

I’m now accepting submissions for the next Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival, when our topic will be Combining Households.

I’m seeing more and more Moms working from home. Most of my Mom clients work from home at least some of the time. It’s a challenge to draw healthy boundaries between work and personal life. It definitely has its advantages, especially here in metro NYC where not having to commute saves a lot of time. But finding your rhythm can be hard, and communicating to other family members when you are “at work” and when you are “available” is tricky. Thanks for this roundup, and for including my post!

That’s especially tricky if you don’t have set work hours, which I think is common, since flexibility is one of the reasons many choose to work from home!
