Mindfulness is not a new concept – people have been practicing it for thousands of years! Although it originated from Eastern religions, in recent decades it has become an important part of daily life for many.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who is interested in becoming more mindful, so I invited my readers to share their posts about Mindfulness for this month’s Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival. Read on to learn how mindfulness can help you improve your focus, organization, productivity, sleep and more.

This edition of the Blog Carnival is sponsored by Sara Skillen, COC®, CPO®, the founder and owner of SkillSet Coaching & Organizing based in Franklin, TN (just below Nashville). She specializes in coaching and organizing for adults diagnosed with ADHD or other brain based conditions, and is the author of Organizing and Big Scary Goals: Working With Discomfort and Doubt to Create Real Life Order. Available in paperback and eBook format, you can look for the audiobook version to be released just in time for the holidays.

Sara was particularly excited to sponsor this Blog Carnival, as mindfulness practices are a particular interest, and a support she regularly uses with clients.

As you read the various posts submitted by my readers, take a moment to leave some comments and to share  your favorites with your network. Please use the hashtags #POBC and #mindfulness when you talk about the Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival on social media.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this Blog Carnival, especially our wonderful sponsor.

For the next edition of the Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival, I’d like you to share your very best blog post from 2020! You may make your submission any time from now until Tuesday, December 15 at 12:00 Midnight EST.

I knew you would get a good response for this one! What a terrific collection of posts, with many by my “mindfulness heroes.” Definitely will be sharing!

I’m definitely pleased with the response and, as often happens, with the many different approaches to the topic. Thank you for sharing!

I can’t think of anyone in organizing who might need this more than I do; I’m mindful when I’m focused on a project, but otherwise in my life, mindfulness escapes me. I can’t wait to dig in!

There is some really great information and advice here, for sure! I too struggle with this.
