I can't believe it's been over a decade since the Blogging Organizers Facebook group was created!

What began as a space for professional organizers, productivity consultants, and blogging enthusiasts has organically grown into a vibrant community with over 600 members. Remarkably, 230 of these individuals have been actively engaged since September 1, showing the group's lasting appeal.

Facebook groups weren't all that popular in the beginning, and not a lot was going on. That all changed in 2015, when I took a course that included membership in a dynamic Facebook group. Seeing the effectiveness of daily engagement by the group leader was a turning point for me, and I was inspired to adopt a similar approach with Blogging Organizers.

I started posting seven days a week at first, cutting back to five days a week after about a year. This steered the way for Blogging Organizers to become a thriving online hangout for bloggers in the organizing industry, whether they're just getting started or 20+ year veterans.

I could not have made it to my ten year ‘blogiversary' without the forum you created for all of us Blogging Organizers and the support it has given me!

The Weekly Blog Share stands out as the group's most popular activity. Each Monday, members are invited to post a link to one of their blog posts which they'd like others to share. Those who blog weekly capitalize on this opportunity to drive traffic to their latest content, while others use it to revive interest in older but evergreen posts.

Some members find this networking activity so beneficial that they this intentionally block time on their schedules for it.

I've only been a member of Blogging Organizers for a couple of months, but I've gained momentum, inspiration and community, all thanks to you!

On other days, I share a variety of blogging ideas, tips, articles, guest blogging opportunities, or announcements, catering to the diverse needs and interests of the group members.

Further networking takes place through engaging polls, discussions, and the open exchange of questions and resources.

What a wonderful, engaging, committed group you’ve grown, Janet! Thank you for all you do to encourage us to write, share, and learn about all things blogging-related. I’m so happy to be part of this community, and I appreciate your effort to keep it going and thriving. I’m deeply grateful.

I love being a part of this group. I learn a lot, and the members are so supportive. Being involved here also sharpens my skills, and sometimes challenges me to push a bit beyond what I know I would have done on my own.

Thank you so much for organizing us, cheering us on, supporting us, and most importantly bringing us together, Janet!

I blogged weekly from 2007 until 2013, and then was very intermittent in my publishing schedule, but know that when I was active in the Facebook group, I was doing the most writing and getting the most inspiration. Getting back into the weekly groove in the Facebook group has given me so much support and commitment for writing, and especially engaging with the other blogging organizers.

Janet, thank you for all the MANY things you do to support the organizing and productivity profession.

I replied to your comment, but it didn’t show up so I typed it in again, and it said it was a duplicate comment. Still not showing up in front end or back so trying again!

Thank you for sharing your experience and for always being my cheerleader.
