ADHD – Professional Organizers Blog Carnival

Professional Organizers Blog Carnival - ADHD

October is international ADHD Awareness Month, full of education about this neurodevelopmental disorder. Whether you’ve been diagnosed with ADHD, have ADHD-like symptoms, or have clients with ADHD, you’ll find learning about specialized organizational strategies to be very beneficial.

Our sponsor for this month’s Professional Organizers Blog Carnival is Sue West, Productivity & ADHD Coach, and author of “You Are Not Your Adult ADHD” (republished as “Change Your Habits: ADHD Style” in 2019). A recognized expert in this area, Sue was a series regular in a U.S. News column about ADHD, was selected to speak for this month’s 9th international ADHD Awareness Expo, and has her Certified Professional Organizer® in Chronic Disorganization credential from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization. She is also a NAPO member, and has her Certified Organizer Coach® designation from The Coach Approach for Organizers.

In honor of ADHD Awareness Month, I invited my readers to contribute their blog posts about ADHD. As you read their posts, take a moment to leave some comments and to share your favorites with your network. Please use the hashtag #POBC when you talk about the Professional Organizers Blog Carnival on social media.

Thanks to everyone who participated in this month’s Professional Organizers Blog Carnival, and especially to Sue West for sponsoring and suggesting such an important topic.

Would Sue’s ADHD workbook be of value to your clients and/or blog readers? She’s thinking of setting up an affiliate program, where you could earn commission on any referrals you make. If you’d be interested in such an opportunity, please let Sue know and she’ll keep you posted.

Our topic for next month’s Blog Carnival will be Organizing Games and PuzzlesSubmit your post any time before 7:00 PM EST on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
