One of the most popular features on Your Organizing Business is when I interview a professional organizer or productivity consultant about their business. Everyone seems to love reading about the different paths others have taken towards starting and building a career in this field.

It’s been a great year for interviews, with a record of nine organizers taking part, including a few industry veterans. Click on their names below to read their stories. Even if you’ve known someone for a long time, you’re sure to discover something new!

Barb Eimer

Barb Eimer of Settle Down has gone through some interesting twists and turns over the past eight years! She now helps people in Northern Indiana prepare for and get organized after moving, as well as traditional organizing.

Debbie Rosemont

A Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival Superstar Blogger, Debbie is the founder of Simply Placed in greater Seattle, Washington. Since starting part-time in 2003, she has since built a team that has helped thousands of people have more time for what matters most.

Gayle Goddard

Jen Obermeier

Judith Kolberg

Judith Kolberg of FileHeads Professional Organizers and Squall Press serves international and national clients, virtually and in-person. An organizing industry veteran, she trains professional organizers and productivity consultants in digital estate planning and loves doing developmental editing of self-help and how-to books and products.

Melanie Summers

Melanie Summers of I Speak Organized serves the greater Portland and SW Washington metro area and currently offers virtual plans and services nationwide. She’s also a great story teller!

Ronni Eisenberg

After 42 years in business, Ronni Eisenberg has done it all and seen it all, so she has an interesting story and a lot of wisdom to share.

Sabrina Quairoli

Sabrina Quairoli of Sabrina’s Organizing and Admin Services provides virtual administrative support to small business owners in the United States and is one of our Megastar Bloggers.

I love these interviews, and I keep thinking I need to do something “interesting” to make it worth your while. 2021 will be my 20th year in business, so perhaps it’s the year to step up. 😉 In the meantime, thank you for sharing out colleagues’ great stories.
