"Metamorphosis" by Neela Tom

Living through change can be challenging, even when it’s the result of a conscious decision, but especially when it’s due to circumstances beyond our control. We’ve all gone through a lot of those, especially over the past year.

For this month’s Productivity & Organizing Blog Carnival, I invited my readers to submit their blog posts about living through change. Their contributions address a wide range of life changes from starting a new school to growing old and everything in between. I have no doubt you’ll find valuable information here to help you navigate your own transitions or support your clients through theirs.

Please take a moment to share this post or the ones you find most helpful with your network, using the hashtag #POBC.

Next month’s topic will be Barriers to Productivity and our sponsor will be Folder Marker. I hope you’ll be able to join us! You have until June 16th to make a submission.

Do you offer a product or service that would interest professional organizers or their clients?

A great topic choice. Some changes are small and necessary and we might not recognize the stress they cause in our lives. Other changes are forced on us and some we graciously accept a challenge and make a change. Reading about all the different types of changes helps us to be prepared when we are presented with change.

Great point about not recognizing the effects of even small changes on our stress levels.

I once did an exercise where you scored points for each listed stressful event you’d experienced in the past year and I couldn’t believe I was still standing when I looked at it through that lens.

Wow! Great collection of posts! Change is always a struggle initially. Being flexible while in the process of change is key. I am definitely going to visit and share these on my social media channels to spread the word. Thanks for including my post as well.
