Thanks for including me in this roundup, Janet. I’m enjoying having a look at the various approaches to bedroom organizing!
I love how there’s always such a variety of approaches, even with a fairly narrow topic like this one.
Thanks for including me, Janet! Wow, can’t wait to visit these excellent Professional Organizers blog posts.
It’s fun to see how some are general tips that could be applied to any bedroom (married, single, or child) and others are very specific (stuffed animals or nightstands).
Thanks so much, Janet for including my post in the organizing bedrooms collection. I enjoyed reading all the great ideas. One of the themes that kept coming up was to keep the bedroom uncluttered to make way for better sleep, more romance, and more relaxation. We all need a place that can help us rejuvenate after a full day.
Your post was unique, Linda, because rather than focusing on the practical issues of “does this still fit” and “does it belong here” it talked about our emotional attachment to certain objects. Your perspective is always appreciated!
You’re right that my post was a bit off the beaten path for this one. Yet I thought it fit being that the emotional process of sorting through our daughter’s “stuff” took place in her bedroom. And so often it’s our attachment to things that can be what makes it so hard to let go.
Thank you again for the opportunity to participate.
Always an honor to be included in the POBC, Janet! I really enjoy visiting all the different website while relaxing with a cup of tea (and a few cookies!). I always learn a lot from my organizing friends!!
That’s the way to do it, Olive! I’m so glad we connected in Elizabeth’s program when we did.
Thanks for bringing all these great blogs to our attention. Really useful!
You’re welcome!
Ohh! I miss it! By the way you have done a great job @Janet. I can learn many things & will find new topics for my blogs from this list of different blogs. Thanks a lot 🙂
Thanks, Jabin! I’m lucky to have so many talented and knowledgeable bloggers in my network.
